Terms of Service

Effective Date: February 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Posted.Careers Community web platform and the Posted.Careers Assistant browser extension (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Posted.Careers ("we," "our," or "us").

By creating an account or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Your Account

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are created through a third-party sign-in provider (Google or Apple); you are responsible for maintaining the security of that provider account.

Your profile includes a public page at posted.careers/we/{username}. Information you place on your profile — including your name, headline, location, and any Offerings or Seekings you publish — may be visible to other members and, in part, to the public.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity, experience, or affiliation with any organization.
  • Use the Services to send unsolicited commercial messages, recruit for schemes, or harass other members.
  • Scrape, bulk-export, or resell member profiles, job listings, or any other content from the Services.
  • Attempt to gain access to accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access, or to circumvent usage limits or access controls.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share — including resumes or documents belonging to other people.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload, including your resume and profile information. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Services — for example, rendering your public profile, matching you to relevant roles, and generating the AI features described below.

You can remove your content at any time from your profile. Deleting your account removes your profile and uploaded documents from the Services.

4. AI-Generated Features

Parts of the Services use artificial intelligence to parse your resume, suggest career paths, draft networking Offerings and Seekings, and tailor application material to specific roles. These outputs are suggestions, not professional advice, and may be inaccurate or incomplete.

You are responsible for reviewing anything generated on your behalf before you send it, publish it, or rely on it in an application. Details of how your data is handled by our AI providers are set out in our Privacy Policy.

5. Job Listings

Job listings on the Services are aggregated from employer websites and third-party sources. We do not employ, endorse, or vet the organizations that post them, and we do not guarantee that any listing is current, accurate, or still open. Listings are shown for a limited freshness window and are removed from the active index after it elapses.

Applications are made directly with the employer, on their own systems. We are not a party to any application, interview, or employment relationship that results from your use of the Services.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices and plan entitlements are those shown on the subscription page at the time you subscribe.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods except where required by law. If a payment fails, we may restrict access to paid features until billing is brought up to date.

Promotional access — including beta and Founding Member periods — is granted at our discretion, applies for the stated period only, and may be modified or withdrawn.

7. Communications

By creating an account you agree to receive service-related messages, such as notifications about activity on your profile and your Offerings and Seekings. You can manage job digests, category alerts, and custom search emails from your email settings, and unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that they will result in any particular employment, introduction, or outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our web platform and updating the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
