Overview
Lavendo partners with startups and high-growth companies to help them hire top-tier sales, GTM, and technical talent. This role is with one of their clients; full details about the company and interview process are shared as mutual fit is confirmed.
About the Company
The client is a seed-stage event commerce company with $16M in funding and backing from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). The platform combines tickets, merchandise, drinks, tables, and sponsorship placements with affiliate tracking and automatic commission payouts. Organizers can manage more of their event business in one place and reward the people driving sales.
The Mission
Help organizers earn more from every event and make it easier for the people behind local events and nightlife to grow their businesses.
The Opportunity
As a Business Development Manager, you will help grow the local events and nightlife business by turning your relationships with promoters, venue owners, and organizers into new accounts. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will work directly with leadership and help shape the sales approach as the business grows. You will have autonomy over your pipeline and the opportunity to build on the company's visibility across music and entertainment, including Lil Wayne featuring the platform in his Instagram bio and a signed WWE contract.
