Overview
JLL is seeking an Assistant Project Manager based in Shenzhen to support the delivery of construction and fit-out projects for multinational clients. This role involves assisting with project documentation, site inspection, contractor management, and stakeholder coordination.
Responsibilities
- •Assist PM in documents preparation and compilation, such as Project Schedule Reports, Procurement and Contract documents to ensure smooth project implementation.
- •Assist reviewing drawings from LDI and inspect construction work to ensure all site works are in strict accordance with blueprints and client requirements.
- •Assist construction manager in checking the progress, quality, and safety of on-site structure, decoration, and outdoor construction, and manage day-to-day project delivery.
- •Assist in building relationships with government bureaus and related companies to obtain construction permits and related certificates.
- •Attend PCG (Project Control Group) meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- •Assist in technical handover including making defect lists and tracking rectification measures taken by contractors.
- •Assist in the maintenance of the online Project App System used to manage projects.
- •Monitor and enforce safety and ethics on-site and in the JLL office.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree or above in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or other property-related disciplines. Overseas study background preferred.
- •3-5 years of experience related to Design, Construction, or Project Management in Interior Fit-out Projects for multinational clients.
- •Comprehensive knowledge of construction practices and techniques, contract documentation, project management and control systems, and building support systems for Real Estate, Retail, Office, Commercial Complex, Shopping Mall, Hotel, Industrial, or Interior Fit-out projects.
- •Familiarity with relevant national and local regulations, design and construction technical specifications, government permit approval processes, and quality acceptance procedures.
- •Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- •Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD. Well-practiced in PowerPoint for presentations.
- •Strong team cooperation, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving ability.
- •Detail-oriented, analytical, responsible, and devoted to work with a proven track record.
- •Able to work under pressure, willing to travel, and able to accept on-site work assignments.
