Overview
JLL is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Project and Development Services (PDS) team. This role is responsible for overall project management delivery on account, supporting clients with capital planning, budget development, and construction management across multiple simultaneous projects.
Position Responsibilities
- •Directly responsible for overall project management delivery on account
- •Support client with Capital Plan development, Program Scope and assigning proper resources
- •Develop project budget including hard costs and soft costs with firm knowledge of construction cost/benefit analysis
- •Lead cost saves/avoidance efforts and perform negotiations and value engineering
- •Mine, create, track, and monitor meaningful data metrics, analysis, and KPIs
- •Provide technical support including project budgeting and scheduling aligned with client goals, site improvements, entitlements and permits, consultant selection, design team management, schedule creation and management, contractor selection and management, and financial management including cash flows, anticipated cost reports, and monthly reports
- •Assemble and manage required teams of consultants and contractors
- •Maintain client relationships and manage conflict resolution
- •Provide appropriate level of on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are met
- •Develop relationships with consultants, contractors, and vendors; evaluate their performance and provide intelligent bid leveling
- •Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk, including managing and maintaining the JLL playbook and working with the client on risk management and mitigation
- •Establish and refine best practices and standards of excellence
- •Assist in training and developing JLL team members in firm and client procedures, methodology, and practices
- •Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all PDS technology as required for assigned projects
- •Work with clients on space programming and schematic drawings
- •Ensure accurate management of all accounts receivables
- •Comply with all JLL policies and procedures
Task Responsibilities
- •Oversight of Account Team including recruiting and managing talent and ensuring proper integration
- •Maintain client relationships and communications
- •Conduct periodic account and client calls
- •Business growth and strategy planning
- •Gain comprehensive understanding of client long-term business goals
- •Share best practices across team and clients
- •Attend industry events and maintain presence in industry organizations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- •5-10 years of practical experience in project administration preferred
- •Experience leading and running numerous projects simultaneously
- •Ability to develop and cultivate business relationships with existing and prospective clients
- •Strong working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, scheduling, and process as they relate to corporate real estate
- •Ability to lead individuals across a national platform to deliver superior results in client service
- •Experience working with landlords, developers, and institutional owners
- •Knowledge and ability to read and understand design development and construction documents
- •Ability to manage several medium and large ground-up development projects, major re-development projects, and corporate interiors projects
- •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional manner, and computer literacy
- •Ability to read commercial leases and support Acquisition Manager and Legal to review leases and comment on Work Letters and other Exhibits
- •Flexibility with work hours and travel (US and/or Canada) as needed, with ability to work in a hybrid model with three days in the downtown Los Angeles location
- •Highly organized with strong analytical skills
- •Skill and interest in business development a strong plus
- •Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Project software
Education
- •Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management strongly preferred

On-site, Richardson, TX. Hybrid model with three days in office (subject to change).
