Job Description
Responsible for the design and development of highly-sophisticated communication products for professional and mission critical markets in the commercial, government and industrial segments.
- •Utilize Modeling and Simulation Software to create and evaluate designs, including RF simulation in ADS/CST and Digital Signal Integrity simulation in Mentor Graphics and Cadence SI tool, prior to releasing the PCB layout Gerber for fabrication.
- •Work with a team of highly-qualified engineers to generate innovative ideas and design communication systems which include infrastructure, subscribers and accessories that meet customer requirements.
- •Work on sub-circuits consisting of RF, digital controller, power and audio circuits.
- •RF sub-circuits involve receivers, transmitters, VCOs, amplifiers, filters and mixers.
- •Digital and controller sub-circuits include microcontroller, logics and LCD circuits.
- •Power, audio and signaling circuits consist of batteries, voltage regulators, audio amplifiers, filters, speakers and microphones.
Training will be provided where necessary.
Basic Requirements
- •At least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Communication Engineering, or related disciplines.
- •Must have a basic understanding in RF, digital controller, or audio related fields depending on the area of work.
- •Hands-on experience with RF, digital, and audio test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters is an added advantage.
- •Simulation experience in ADS, PSPICE, or SI tools is an added advantage.
