About the Role
Customers experience a company through the combined effect of its website, search presence, paid media, social channels, email, events, and digital journeys. As the Sr. Director, Digital Experience and Channels, you will own that connected execution system for WP Engine.
You will lead the website as a product and bring together digital experience, conversion, SEO and GEO, paid media, prospect nurture, organic channel operations, events, partnerships, and experimentation. Your mandate is not simply to manage channels. It is to create a coherent and measurable path through which priority audiences discover, understand, evaluate, and act on WP Engine solutions.
Responsibilities
Website Product Leadership
- •Own the strategy, roadmap, governance, and performance of the WP Engine website as the company's primary digital customer experience.
Journey Architecture
- •Design connected discovery, evaluation, and conversion journeys across company, audience, solution, and product levels.
Channel Leadership
- •Lead SEO, GEO, paid search, paid social, digital media, prospect nurture execution, organic social operations, events, affiliates, and paid partnerships.
Conversion and Personalization
- •Build a rigorous experimentation, personalization, self-service, and conversion-optimization capability.
Channel Investment
- •Recommend and manage channel allocation within approved growth priorities, balancing efficiency, learning, reach, and long-term capability building.
Performance Management
- •Improve relevant audience growth, discoverability, conversion, pipeline contribution, self-service performance, and customer acquisition efficiency.
Team and Partner Leadership
- •Develop strong digital, channel, and experience leaders and manage agencies, platforms, and external partners with clear performance expectations.
Strategic Partnerships
- •Work with New Growth to turn acquisition strategy into executable journeys
- •Partner with Brand to express the company story consistently
- •Collaborate with Product Marketing to maintain accurate claims
- •Engage Content and Creative to create effective experiences
- •Connect with Customer Marketing to link prospect and customer journeys
- •Align with the Revenue Marketing COE on channel decisions with CAC and conversion guardrails
Requirements
- •12+ years of progressive experience across digital experience, website product management, acquisition, channel strategy, performance marketing, or growth leadership
- •Demonstrated ability to integrate website, search, paid media, email, social, events, and partnerships into coherent customer journeys
- •Experience managing a high-impact website or self-service experience with a clear roadmap, customer research, experimentation, and conversion discipline
- •Deep understanding of paid and organic acquisition, SEO and GEO, media economics, nurture, attribution, and the strengths and limitations of individual channels
- •Strong analytical judgment and experience building testing programs that improve conversion and customer acquisition efficiency
- •Ability to share growth accountability with strategy leaders while retaining clear authority over channels, experiences, and execution quality
- •Experience leading broad teams, agencies, budgets, platforms, and competing priorities in a complex global organization
Compensation
- •Base Salary Range: $184,000 to $253,000
