This role is for one of Weekday's clients. As a PR Executive, you will support the planning and execution of public relations campaigns across media, influencers, events, and digital communication channels. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, journalists, media professionals, and influencers to coordinate outreach and ensure PR initiatives are delivered effectively.

The role offers exposure to multiple brands, campaigns, and communication activities, making it well suited for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to develop strong expertise in media relations, brand communication, influencer marketing, and PR strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• •Assist in developing press releases, media pitches, PR plans, newsletters, and communication materials.
• •Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media professionals, influencers, and relevant industry contacts.
• •Support media outreach and execution of PR campaigns and brand communication initiatives.
• •Coordinate promotional events including press conferences, product launches, store openings, exhibitions, and media interactions.
• •Research industry trends, media opportunities, competitor activities, and relevant cultural developments.
• •Identify potential media and influencer opportunities aligned with client and brand objectives.
• •Support influencer outreach and coordinate campaign execution across social media platforms.
• •Track media coverage and prepare coverage reports, campaign updates, and performance reports.
• •Coordinate with internal teams, clients, media contacts, and external partners to ensure timely execution.
• •Assist in preparing client presentations, meeting notes, campaign trackers, and monthly reports.
• •Maintain organised databases of media contacts, influencers, coverage, and campaign activities.
• •Stay updated on evolving media, PR, communication, influencer marketing, and social media trends.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• •1-2 years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, Corporate Communications, or a related field.
• •Prior experience in a PR, communications, or creative agency is preferred.
• •Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent command of English.
• •Good understanding of media relations, PR processes, and the broader media ecosystem.
• •Basic knowledge of influencer marketing, social media, and digital communications.
• •Interest or experience in working with Fashion, Lifestyle, Hospitality, or consumer-facing brands is an advantage.
• •Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• •Excellent organisational and time-management abilities with strong attention to detail.
• •Ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.
• •Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and take ownership.
• •Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, media professionals, influencers, and internal teams.
• •Strong curiosity about emerging trends, culture, communications, and the evolving PR landscape.
