Western Sydney University is seeking a Library Communications Coordinator to join the University Library team at the Kingswood (Penrith) campus. This is a full-time, ongoing position with flexible working arrangements.
Salary: HEW Level 7 $107,053 – $115,469 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.
Working closely with Library leaders and academic and professional stakeholders, you will play a central role in communicating Library services and strengthening connections with the communities the Library serves.
You will lead the strategic planning, development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive integrated marketing, communications and engagement activities that promote Library services, programs, spaces and initiatives.
Leading a small communications team, you will oversee the creation and delivery of content across web, social media and written channels. You will ensure communications are accurate, relevant and timely, while increasing awareness, participation and engagement with Library services.
You will use audience insights, market trends and channel performance data to evaluate communications and identify opportunities for improvement. Through coordinated campaigns, strategic advice and productive stakeholder relationships, you will support student success, research excellence and community engagement.
You are a strategic communications professional with strong leadership capability, sound judgement and a passion for creating meaningful engagement. You bring experience developing and delivering communications strategies that increase awareness, participation and engagement, while supporting student success, research excellence and community impact.
