Overview
Sony Europe is looking for a proactive, hands-on Marketing & Communications Specialist to join the Home Entertainment Brand & Product Communications team. This is a high-visibility role working directly with Sony's flagship product portfolio, driving multi-channel campaign execution, media agency coordination, and website optimisation across Europe.
This position is a Fixed Term Contract until March 2027, with the intention to convert to a permanent role or extend the contract from April 2027.
Media Strategy, Planning & Agency Management
- •Partner with external media agencies to manage end-to-end campaign timelines, media buys, and delivery tracking across European markets.
- •Assist in shaping and executing ATL and digital media campaigns, ensuring alignment with regional business objectives.
- •Write creative briefs for agency partners and designers; oversee asset adaptation to ensure media assets are optimised for target channels and delivered on schedule.
- •Co-lead campaign post-mortems with media agencies, analysing performance metrics to extract actionable insights for future media allocations.
Brand & Product Communications
- •Support the organisation and coordination of owned channel launch plans, whilst supporting the wider European go-to-market strategy.
- •Actively review campaign performance and market trends to pitch creative ideas and propose strategic adjustments directly to brand teams.
- •Monitor deadlines, identify bottlenecks, and proactively solve issues to keep launches on schedule alongside the Product Marketing Planner.
- •Facilitate smooth communication between Tokyo HQ, Sony Europe, and European markets; prepare and deliver clear presentations to align international teams on brand strategy.
Product Toolkit and Content Creation
- •Partner with the Product Marketing Planner to lead content creation and asset briefings for new model launches.
- •Lead creative briefs for owned channel teams, ensuring creative meets brand and product communication objectives across web, eCRM, and social content.
- •Own and optimise the translation workflow for European markets to ensure local relevance and best-in-class execution.
- •Own the process of retrieving and organising central assets from Tokyo HQ, keeping the EU Brand & Product Communications team updated.
- •Maintain and optimise the asset-sharing platform (Aprimo) to improve how regional markets access and download assets.
- •Champion ad-hoc projects, taking ownership of the creative briefing and execution process whilst ensuring project deliverables meet brand objectives.
Website Optimisation
- •Lead end-to-end website update projects for product launches; drive layout and content decisions to deliver first-class webpage execution, ensuring cross-functional teams deliver on time.
- •Utilise Adobe dashboards and collaborate with internal teams to optimise web content and drive traffic for the Home Entertainment portfolio.
- •Oversee and update content across key digital touchpoints including Sony Europe owned pages, Flixmedia (retail syndication), and Amazon A+ content.
- •Partner with the Product Marketing Planner to secure and optimise high-quality assets that boost website traffic and conversion.
- •Coordinate with Web and Direct to Consumer teams to secure homepage space for Home Entertainment products, aligning activations with wider campaigns.
