Global Payments is hiring a Technical Project Manager to manage large-scale, complex projects across business segments and functional areas. The role involves overseeing project scope, timeline, budget, and risk management while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Role
The Technical Project Manager manages all aspects of large scale and complex projects or initiatives from initiation to delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, with quality, and within budget. This role designs, communicates, and implements operational plans for completing projects, monitors progress and performance, and identifies, resolves, or escalates issues to minimize delays.
Responsibilities
•Manage projects across one or two business segments and multiple functional areas, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.
•Develop, customize, and execute project plans, adapting standard processes and solutions to meet business requirements.
•Oversee project scope, timeline, budget, and risk management, escalating issues appropriately and ensuring successful delivery.
•Collaborate, negotiate, and resolve conflicts with stakeholders while managing changing requirements and project challenges.
•Ensure accurate project estimation, billing, budget tracking, and contract compliance, while identifying opportunities to increase revenue and improve delivery efficiency.
•Facilitate and manage the analysis of project requirements, identifying cost estimates, resources, and time required to complete projects.
•Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate project status within and beyond the project team.
•Work with stakeholders to identify and establish priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones.
•Act as a liaison with other areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project.
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and work experience.
•Minimum 4 years of relevant project management experience.
•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Nice to Have
•Strong expertise in project management and industry practices, applying sound judgment to resolve diverse and complex challenges.
•Ability to independently manage projects with minimal supervision, leveraging project management methodologies and adapting deliverables to changing scope, timelines, and resources.
•Proven ability to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders and maintain a strong understanding of client business needs to deliver successful project outcomes.
