We are looking for a Principal Associate to join our Tech Recruiting Team — someone with a knack for finding the best of the best and a passion for innovative recruiting techniques.

Roles and Responsibilities

• •Partner with hiring managers, business leads, and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs
• •Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process including creating compelling position descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, marketing Capital One's talent brand, screening candidates, advising business partners, and negotiating job offers
• •Develop and execute sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent, owning the candidate development process from identification and engagement through offer extension and closing
• •Work cross-functionally across a team of high performing recruiters and promote a culture of inspiration, empowerment, and inclusion
• •Leverage recruiting data to proactively provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners
• •Source candidates beyond direct applications using search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques

Basic Qualifications

• •High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• •At least 3 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or client consulting, or a combination of the three

Preferred Qualifications

• •Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification
• •4+ years of experience in corporate recruiting including full life cycle, research, and sourcing
• •2+ years of experience consulting with multiple hiring managers simultaneously while developing excellent working relationships
• •Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment
• •Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse talent
• •Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring

Compensation

Salary ranges for full-time employment:

• •McLean, VA: $120,800 - $137,900
• •Richmond, VA: $109,900 - $125,400

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long term incentives. Capital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial, and other benefits.
