IQVIA is seeking an HR Specialist to support their German and Austrian organization with approximately 2,200 employees. The role involves managing administrative HR tasks, supporting employees throughout their lifecycle, drafting employment contracts, system optimization, payroll preparation, and serving as a liaison between management, employees, and support departments. The position requires HR expertise, strong communication skills in German and English, IT proficiency, and experience in an international environment.

The Role
We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our HR team, which is responsible for people management across the German and Austrian IQVIA organization of approximately 2,200 employees. You will take on a wide variety of tasks that allow you to apply and develop the full range of your talents in a collegial, highly international, and demanding HR environment.
Responsibilities
•Act as point of contact for national and international managers and employees on administrative HR-related questions
•Support and advise employees within a defined area of responsibility across the entire employee lifecycle
•Draft employment contracts, supplementary agreements, references, and certificates
•Support the harmonization of work processes and document templates
•Contribute to development projects aimed at optimizing the HR management system Workday
•Serve as interface to the works council and other support departments
•Handle internal and external correspondence including employee communications and contact with authorities
•Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations
•Prepare and follow up on monthly payroll for a defined area of responsibility
•Support and supervise students and interns
Requirements
•Commercial training, a business administration degree with a focus on HR, and/or further qualification as a Personalfachkauffrau/-mann
•First professional experience in the HR department of an internationally operating company, ideally in the services sector
•Strong team player who approaches challenges with commitment and an independent, organized, structured, and networked mindset
•Strong communication and advisory skills; fluent in German and English
•IT-savvy and comfortable with the MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); prior experience with HR management software is a plus
•Service-oriented mindset, hands-on mentality, and motivation to make an impact in an international environment
