Job Description
Warner Music Group is seeking a Marketing Consultant on a professional services basis to support Atlantic Records' artist marketing initiatives. The consultant will provide strategic marketing advisory, manage project coordination with third-party vendors and artist management, conduct business intelligence and performance reporting on streaming and social metrics, and support budget tracking for marketing and production projects. The role requires 1-2 years of marketing experience in music, media, or creative industries, strong social media and data analysis skills, excellent communication abilities, and an active P.IVA (independent contractor status).
Overview
At Warner Music Group, we are a global collective of music makers and music lovers, tech innovators and inspired entrepreneurs, game-changing creatives and passionate team members. We turn dreams into stardom and audiences into fans.
We are guided by three core values: Curiosity, Collaboration, and Commitment.
Role
Marketing Consultant (P.IVA) for Atlantic Records, operating under a professional services contract (Art. 2222 C.C.).
The selected consultant will work independently to support the label's project targets, providing the following specialist services.
Responsibilities
•Strategic Advisory and Creative Marketing: support the definition of tactical campaign setups for launches, providing analysis and operational recommendations to meet master delivery and promotional material deadlines.
•Project Coordination Technical Support: liaise independently with third-party suppliers (creative agencies, press offices, videomakers) and artist management teams to align tactical execution with launch objectives.
•Business Intelligence and Operational Reporting: independently produce periodic reports, monitor performance KPIs (streaming on DSPs such as Spotify and Apple Music, sales and social metrics), and prepare market analyses for management and artist teams.
•Cost Analysis and Budgeting Support: data collection and financial modelling to support tracking of marketing and production expenses for each recording project.
Candidate Profile
•1 to 2 years of experience (including freelance collaborations or personal projects) in marketing, music, media, digital, or fast-paced creative environments.
•Strong interest in music and market dynamics, with the ability to approach artist marketing holistically: building single or album launches, working on image and positioning, developing social and digital campaigns, and finding new ways to engage listeners, fans, and superfans.
•Contagious curiosity and initiative: if you spot an opportunity, a new trend, or something to improve, you propose your idea immediately.
•Natural fluency with social and digital platforms, with an ability to spot cultural trends before others.
•The right balance between creative flair and pragmatism: able to turn a stimulating idea into a precise operational and strategic plan.
•Good familiarity with reading, processing, and interpreting consumption data (from Spotify for Artists and Apple Music to social insights).
•Proficiency with tools such as Excel and PowerPoint or Keynote to present analyses clearly.
•Natural ease in communicating, listening, and collaborating with very different people and professionals (from creative teams to artist management).
•Strong organisational skills and problem-solving attitude: able to manage multiple activities simultaneously without losing sight of detail and quality.
•Excellent written and spoken English, essential for working comfortably with international partners and networks.
Contract and Working Arrangement
•Active VAT number (P.IVA) required, or willingness to open one, to manage work with full organisational autonomy, defining timelines, priorities, and execution methods.
•This position requires working 5 days per week in the office.
