Overview

OneBeat Dance Brands, a Varsity Spirit company, is seeking a Content and Tech Coordinator to join its Seasonal Tour Team. OneBeat produces high-energy, innovative events in the dance industry under brands including Beyond the Stars, Groove, Breakout, and Reverb. Collectively, the brands host over 200 regional dance competitions, 9 national finals, and 13 fall dance conventions per season.

This is a seasonal, remote-based role located out of Ocean Township, NJ. Travel is required from January through June, with a Thursday through Monday work schedule.

Pay rate: $21/hour

Responsibilities

• •Set up all video equipment prior to the event
• •Lead or assist with media setup and troubleshoot technical issues before or during the event
• •Oversee the operation of the livestream and social wall
• •Ensure all production elements align with and uphold OneBeat brand standards
• •Develop original social media content ideas using event photos and videos (e.g., TikToks, Instagram Reels)
• •Shoot and edit an event recap video meeting OneBeat quality standards; revise edits as needed per deadlines set by the Social Media Coordinator
• •Manage and organize media submitted by Videographers
• •Select and upload standout photos from Photographers for the Social Media Coordinator
• •Step in to relieve the Photographer or Videographer of their duties when needed
• •Apply working knowledge of shot composition, framing, and color balance to capture compelling photos and videos
• •Edit video using Adobe Premiere Pro
• •Break down and properly store all video equipment at the conclusion of the event

Qualifications

• •Must be 18 years or older
• •Ability to work long event days (8 to 16 hours)
• •Ability to stand for extended periods
• •Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs (event equipment, merchandise bins, staging materials)
• •Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• •Comfortable working in loud, dynamic, and fast-paced environments
• •Flexibility and adaptability in responding to shifting event needs
• •Availability to work weekends (Thursday through Monday) and travel from January through June
• •Previous event or dance industry experience preferred but not required

Education

• •High school diploma or GED required
