Role Overview

Senior Technical Program Managers (TPMs) in Trust & Infrastructure lead strategic technology programs that drive transformation to Hyperforce, Salesforce's infrastructure product built on third-party substrates like AWS and GCP. This role has a specific mandate to elevate the developer experience across Trust & Infrastructure — ensuring every safety and compliance investment also removes friction and unlocks velocity for the engineers who build on the platform.

This is an individual contributor role in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with mission-critical deliverables. Communication, coordination, organization, leadership, flexibility, and ownership are key to success.

What You'll Be Doing

• •Drive developer experience programs that pair safety/compliance requirements with measurable productivity gains — e.g., reducing time-to-merge, cutting manual toil, or improving self-service tooling adoption — so trust and velocity reinforce each other rather than trade off.
• •Partner with Developer Tools, Platform, and Engineering teams to identify and eliminate friction points in the inner/outer development loop, translating developer feedback into prioritized program roadmaps.
• •Lead programs by aligning on scope and release planning, uniting teams around vision and business goals, and securing cross-functional alignment.
• •Drive Steering Committee meetings with key partners to make decisions, remove obstacles, and address program issues, ensuring business goals are met.
• •Work closely with executives and key partners across Engineering, Customer Enablement, Legal, and Product to deliver key business value.

Required Qualifications

• •8+ years of enterprise software/technical program or engineering management experience at an enterprise technology company.
• •5+ years leading SaaS product development programs, with a demonstrated understanding of the SaaS business model and product development lifecycle.
• •Deep experience with the software development lifecycle and ability to apply agile methodologies in a dynamic environment.
• •Experience driving developer-facing programs or tooling initiatives, with the ability to think in terms of developer experience metrics such as adoption, cycle time, and satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience with Portfolio Management.
• •Ability to quickly master new technical subjects and technologies relevant to a program.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of hands-on, detail-oriented execution.
• •Experience working on programs that balance security/compliance mandates with developer productivity.

Compensation

The typical base salary range for this position is $150,100 - $227,000 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range is $180,200 - $247,900 annually. The range represents base salary only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
