RTX is seeking a Precision Projectiles Development Execution Program Manager for the Excalibur Hit to Kill and Extended Range Artillery Projectile programs. The role involves managing all aspects of program execution including cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include program integration, cross-functional coordination, government engagement, proposal development, risk management, and leadership of integrated product teams. The position requires an active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship, with a salary range of $132,400-$251,600.
Overview
Raytheon, part of RTX, is seeking a Precision Projectiles Development Execution Program Manager to lead the Excalibur Hit to Kill (HTK) and Extended Range Artillery Projectile (ERAP) programs. Both HTK (XM1180) and ERAP (XM1230) are part of the Excalibur Weapon System, designed to extend the range and seeker capability of 155mm artillery projectiles. This is an onsite role located in Tucson or Scottsdale, AZ.
What You Will Do
•Assist with program integration, coordination, and direct engagement with the program team and functional partners for day-to-day execution
•Responsible for meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance within contractual boundaries and company expectations
•Develop, inform, and achieve AOP and LRP goals and objectives
•Interface with US Army Government Leaders to develop and influence program priorities, execution, and funding strategies
•Lead proposal and associated capture and startup activities
•Collaborate with Financial Planning to ensure Top-level Master Phasing and Integrated Master Schedules meet program strategies, objectives, and milestones
•Set budgetary guidelines and direct the performance of program task elements for IPTs/CPTs
•Lead the program risk and opportunity process in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations
•Participate in internal reviews and executive briefings pertaining to all pursuits including Gates, EACs, contract proposals, negotiation and definitization, and contract closeout efforts
•Support domestic and international travel as needed
Required Qualifications
•University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
•Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals
•Experience leading cross-functional teams
•Experience with technical, cost, and schedule requirements
•Active and transferable US government Secret security clearance required on day 1
•US citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
•In-depth knowledge of projectile weapon systems and army production and development programs
•Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, and management
•Proficiency with program management tools
•Demonstrated ability to advise and influence functional leaders, business development, global supply chain, and internal program leaders to secure financial and staffing resources
•Program Management Certification or ability to obtain; track record in successfully leading IR&D, NBI, and/or customer funded programs/projects
Compensation and Benefits
•Salary range: 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD
