Overview
JLL is seeking a Meetings & Events Global Associate Program Manager to play a vital role on the Meetings & Events team within the Global Travel and Events program, serving the Amazon Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) client. This position is based onsite in Arlington, VA.
The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. You will execute implementation strategies and operational plans, create process documentation, manage project teams, and drive consistency across a global program.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
•Execute the implementation strategy and operational plans, ensuring project team members are completing key deliverables on schedule while maintaining accountability for project success
•Create playbooks, workflows, journey maps, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reduce duplicative regional-specific standards and drive consistency across the global program
•Manage operational project plans, resources, deadlines, and risks while providing updates, communicating challenges or barriers, and translating them into actionable plans
•Proactively analyze deadlines and competing priorities while creating prioritization plans to ensure objectives are met and stakeholder expectations are exceeded
•Anticipate resistance as a result of new or updated processes and analyze change impact for better utilization and adoption of SOPs, driving organizational effectiveness
•Lead simple to standard project and/or supplier implementations on behalf of the Meetings & Events team, ensuring seamless integration and operational readiness
•Collaborate with Training Manager to transform process documentation into executable trainings, whether internal or customer-facing, supporting knowledge transfer and capability building
•Manage, train, and supervise coordinators, providing coaching, quality oversight, and performance management to support team development and success
•Assist with other related tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to evolving business needs
Required Qualifications
•Three to five or more years of project management or meetings and events operations management experience with demonstrated ability to execute complex initiatives
•Three to five or more years implementing organizational initiatives with proven track record of delivering results on time and within scope
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to assess challenges, develop solutions, and drive implementation
•Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing projects and timelines while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels
•Working knowledge of organizational change management processes with understanding of adoption strategies and resistance mitigation techniques
•Experience creating process maps, playbooks, standard operating procedures, and journey maps that drive operational clarity and consistency
Preferred Qualifications
•Two to four year college degree or equivalent work experience in business, project management, or related fields
•Three or more years implementing meeting and event or travel program organizational initiatives such as Strategic Meetings Management or corporate business travel programs
•Experience using waterfall, Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt, Lean, or Agile implementation methodologies
•Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
•Experience managing direct reports with ability to coach, develop, and manage performance effectively
•Experience working in project management technology such as Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent
•Experience communicating with all levels of stakeholders including senior leadership
•Demonstrated track record of cultivating strong working relationships and driving collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders in complex organizational environments
