Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful management of the design, planning and construction of real estate facilities projects, with accountability for accomplishing all project goals and objectives. Project aspects may include mechanical, electrical, civil, industrial, and architectural applications; the associated administrative and budgetary control responsibilities; the planning, organizing, coordination of resources; and full control and execution of the project to the fulfillment of client expectations.
Essential Job Duties
•Manage project deliverables, including developing scope of work, scheduling project reports, managing the development of drawings for clients and property/facility management teams, and overseeing design, development, and construction phases for assigned projects.
•Proactively manage project-related issues on an account or assigned project as necessary.
•Ensure success in initiation, planning, execution, and completion of all projects against agreed upon targets.
•Maintain high qualitative and quantitative standards for work performance along with accurate and consistent electronic files.
•Prepare agendas and meeting materials, lead meetings, develop and maintain master project budgets and timelines to ensure overall project objectives and client needs are met.
•Advise and obtain necessary approvals from management regarding potential organizational changes, actions requiring additional commitments, and expenditures in excess of approved budget.
•Coordinate and track all vendor RFQs and RFPs.
•Review all change orders and invoices associated with the project; confer with client on all project financial information and management of services.
•Keep building management apprised of progress at all times.
•Provide guidance to junior staff.
Education and Experience Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
•5+ years of related experience in project management.
•Solid project management skills with demonstrated understanding of project management business.
•Experience in client relations, client management, and consulting.
•Ability to autonomously manage a complete project from onset through completion.
•Ability to read and understand construction specifications, blueprints, and architectural/engineering drawings.
•Experience preparing and tracking master project budgets.
•Highly organized with the ability to identify and manage multiple priorities at once.
•Understanding of technical requirements for various project types.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
•Strong problem-solving skills.
•Experience with analysis and reporting.
Compensation
The compensation for this position is $110,500.00 - $130,000.00.
