Applies professional expertise and judgment to support payroll and benefits administrative activities and business outcomes.
Payroll Processing
•Consolidate and validate all complex payroll inputs and provide to the payroll vendor as per the payroll calendar (including new hire registration, setting up new pay codes, shifts, etc.)
•Validate the gross to net and other outputs from the payroll vendor to ensure accuracy and compliance
•Ensure employees and liabilities are paid on time
•Assure employees are provided with relevant documents as applicable and that deregistration is completed
•Keep up to date with local legislation to ensure correctness and compliance
Benefits Administration
•Liaise with Third Party Administrator (TPA) to update staff movements (new hire, leaver), changes, and cancellations in accordance with company policies and procedures
•Responsible for transmitting data to benefit vendors, TPA, and processing relevant changes through payroll
•Manage activities associated with complex benefits billing, reconciliation to input forms, payroll data, and GL bookings; resolve complex issues and make final decisions related to these issues
•Provide input for the development of new programs, plan and organize new process administration, and coordinate benefit plan changes with vendors
Employee Assistance
•Assist employees with complex payroll and benefits administration inquiries in a timely manner, including new hire onboarding
Governmental and Internal Reporting
•Ensure timely reporting to external and internal stakeholders as defined by local legislation and internal SOPs and requirements
Audit Support
•Provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits in a timely manner and to desired quality standards
•Demonstrate all activities are performed in accordance with SOPs, HR policies, and legal legislation to meet SOX requirements, including assistance with reconciliation of all payroll-related general ledger accounts
SOP and Process Documentation
•Ensure regular updates and revision of SOP documentation
•Provide input for the development of MyHR articles and communication materials related to programs, plans, policies, and processes
•Provide payroll and benefit administration guidance to stakeholders while applying best practices
•Develop and document payroll and benefit administration processes and procedures
•Provide coaching and knowledge transfer to team members
•Other duties as assigned by leadership
What You'll Need
•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field
•5+ years of experience in payroll analysis
•Advanced knowledge of Israel and EMEA payroll, including principles, practices, legislation, and standards
•Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and HRIS Workday systems
•Ability to identify areas of improvement in payroll operations and recommend solutions
•Ability to comply with government requirements and legislation
•Relevant benefits administration knowledge would be a distinct advantage
•Knowledge of applicable compensation laws and regulations
