Overview

Our partner is a Budapest-based technology-focused company operating in an international environment, building a high-caliber engineering and development team. As the company grows, they are looking for a Technical Recruiter who will not simply join an existing recruiting process, but will actively participate in building and developing it for the long term.

Responsibilities

• •Independent sourcing, outreach, and selection of senior and specialist technology professionals
• •Direct sourcing and continuous development of talent pipelines
• •End-to-end coordination of the recruitment process for engineering and technology positions, from sourcing to offer
• •Close collaboration with hiring managers and technical leads to precisely define open roles
• •Designing and improving interview processes and selection standards
• •Building recruitment processes, sourcing playbooks, and operational frameworks
• •Professional use of ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter
• •Active outreach to senior engineering candidates and building long-term talent pools
• •Continuous mapping of the technology market and relevant professional communities
• •Supporting employer branding and technical community presence
• •Building a scalable recruiting function in line with company growth

Requirements

• •At least 3 years of relevant technical recruitment experience
• •Proven experience in direct sourcing and hiring of senior engineering professionals
• •Confident use of LinkedIn Recruiter
• •Experience with ATS systems; knowledge of Greenhouse is an advantage
• •Interest in technical domains and appropriate technology affinity
• •Ability to evaluate strong candidates based on professional context, not just keywords
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• •Independent, proactive work style with a high level of ownership
• •Confident English language skills, as English is the working language
• •Fluent Hungarian language skills
• •Legal right to work in Hungary

Nice to Have

• •Experience in a startup, scale-up, R&D, or innovation environment
• •Familiarity with deep-tech, AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, imaging, or hardware-adjacent engineering fields
• •Experience recruiting for C++, backend, systems, infrastructure, or DevOps positions
• •Experience building a recruiting function or processes from scratch
• •International recruitment and handling relocation, visa, or work permit processes for Hungary
• •Knowledge of the Budapest tech community, including connections with meetups, universities, or conferences
