We are seeking a Senior Linux Graphics Engineer to lead the migration and optimization of a high-performance rendering platform from Windows to Linux.
This is a senior individual contributor role where you will take ownership of critical graphics infrastructure while helping shape the future of a sophisticated rendering pipeline used in large-scale simulation environments.

What You'll Do
•Lead the migration of a production rendering platform from Windows to Linux using Vulkan
•Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance rendering systems that support advanced simulation workloads
•Resolve rendering differences between DirectX and Vulkan implementations, including memory management, shader compilation, synchronization, and platform-specific behavior
•Build automated validation and regression testing to ensure rendering consistency across platforms
•Profile GPU and CPU performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements
•Contribute to rendering technologies supporting wide-angle rendering, advanced lighting, scene reconstruction, and GPU compute workloads
•Collaborate with infrastructure, simulation, and platform engineering teams to ensure reliable deployment across cloud environments
•Support containerized applications, build systems, and cloud-based GPU infrastructure
•Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and software quality
Required Qualifications
•7+ years of experience developing real-time graphics or rendering systems
•Proven experience shipping production software using Vulkan
•Strong Linux graphics development experience, including GPU drivers, shader toolchains, debugging, and graphics APIs
•Expert-level C++ programming skills within large production codebases
•Experience profiling and optimizing GPU and CPU performance using tools such as RenderDoc, Nsight, or similar platforms
•Strong understanding of rendering architecture, graphics pipelines, and performance optimization
•Ability to independently drive complex technical initiatives from design through production
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience shipping Unreal Engine applications on Linux using Vulkan
•Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine rendering architecture, Render Hardware Interface (RHI), render graph, and shader systems
•Experience contributing to Vulkan-related open-source projects or graphics tooling
•Experience porting rendering systems between DirectX and Vulkan
•Background in cloud rendering, remote rendering, video streaming, or graphics infrastructure
•Experience with LiDAR, radar, camera simulation, physically based rendering, neural rendering, or Gaussian splatting
•Familiarity with GPU compute technologies and modern rendering techniques
