TalentReach is hiring on behalf of a growing technology company seeking an experienced Senior Amazon Business Manager to own and grow its Amazon business across a portfolio of technical products. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving revenue, profitability, operational excellence, and customer experience across one of the company's most strategic sales channels.
Role
As the Senior Amazon Business Manager, you will oversee every aspect of the Amazon business, including sales strategy, forecasting, inventory planning, product merchandising, advertising, pricing, and marketplace operations. You will collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Product, and external partners to maximize growth while maintaining a best-in-class customer experience and healthy channel performance.
What You'll Do
•Own the overall Amazon business strategy, revenue goals, profitability, and long-term growth plans
•Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly sales forecasts across product lines
•Monitor revenue, unit sales, margins, pricing, inventory levels, and market performance to drive continuous improvement
•Identify opportunities to grow the business through new product launches, assortment expansion, promotional campaigns, and merchandising optimization
•Build and maintain strong relationships with Amazon account teams and marketplace partners
•Manage both Vendor Central and Seller Central operations, ensuring operational excellence across multiple selling models
•Oversee forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment strategies, and product availability
•Partner with Operations and Finance to optimize inventory levels while minimizing stock shortages and excess inventory
•Own the customer experience by optimizing product listings, digital content, images, videos, enhanced brand content, and product discoverability
•Monitor customer feedback, reviews, returns, and marketplace performance to identify product and customer experience improvements
•Develop pricing strategies that balance growth, profitability, and channel integrity
•Monitor marketplace activity, competitive pricing, and reseller performance while helping protect brand standards
•Manage Amazon advertising campaigns, promotional programs, and marketplace marketing initiatives
•Analyze advertising performance, conversion metrics, and return on investment to improve campaign effectiveness
•Build dashboards and executive reporting to communicate business performance, forecasts, and growth opportunities
•Lead Amazon launch strategies for new products, ensuring successful merchandising, inventory readiness, pricing, and promotional execution
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Amazon initiatives with broader company objectives
Required Qualifications
•5-7 years of experience managing Amazon business operations for a technology, electronics, hardware, or consumer products company
•Demonstrated success owning Amazon revenue growth, forecasting, and channel profitability
•Hands-on experience with Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central
•Experience managing both first-party (1P) and third-party (3P) Amazon business models
•Strong understanding of Amazon forecasting, inventory planning, pricing strategies, marketplace operations, and promotional programs
•Experience optimizing Amazon product listings and digital merchandising for complex products
•Strong financial, analytical, and reporting skills with experience evaluating revenue, margins, and business performance
•Experience collaborating with distributors, reseller partners, and cross-functional business teams
•Excellent project management, communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience managing Amazon business across multiple international marketplaces
•Experience with enterprise technology, networking, electronics, or other technical product categories
•Familiarity with Amazon Business and B2B purchasing programs
•Experience with Amazon Brand Registry, Vine, and marketplace brand protection initiatives
•Experience managing Amazon advertising agencies or external marketplace partners
•Advanced proficiency with Excel, business intelligence platforms, and Amazon analytics tools
