OEM Enterprise Sales Director

TalentReach is hiring on behalf of an innovative company helping automotive manufacturers accelerate the development and validation of next-generation autonomous and AI-powered systems.

We are seeking an OEM Enterprise Sales Director to own and grow strategic relationships with major automotive manufacturers. This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role for someone who understands the complexity of large automotive organizations and knows how to navigate long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and enterprise procurement processes.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record of selling into automotive OEMs and understands how decisions are made across engineering, product, procurement, and executive leadership teams. You know how to move opportunities from initial conversations through proof-of-concept engagements and ultimately into multi-year, multi-million-dollar production contracts.

While deep engineering expertise is not required, you should be comfortable discussing technical products at a high level and know when to engage technical experts to support the sales process.

What You'll Do

• •Own the full sales cycle for OEM accounts from initial outreach through proof of concept, expansion, and long-term production agreements
• •Build and grow relationships across large automotive organizations
• •Identify technical champions, economic buyers, and key decision-makers throughout complex organizations
• •Lead proof-of-concept engagements with a clear path toward large-scale production deployments
• •Partner closely with Technical Engagement Managers on product demonstrations and technical evaluations
• •Develop and maintain healthy pipeline forecasts, territory plans, and account strategies
• •Navigate complex procurement processes and multi-stakeholder buying committees
• •Represent the company at industry events, including CES, CVPR, and automotive conferences
• •Provide market insights and customer feedback to internal product and leadership teams

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• •7+ years of enterprise sales experience with significant experience selling into automotive OEM organizations
• •Deep understanding of OEM organizational structures, procurement processes, and stakeholder mapping
• •Experience working with Tier 1 suppliers, OEM technology organizations, or related automotive ecosystems
• •Proven track record of landing and expanding six- and seven-figure enterprise agreements
• •Experience selling technical software, data products, or complex technology solutions
• •Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
• •Ability to independently navigate large, matrixed organizations
• •Comfortable discussing product capabilities without requiring engineering support for every interaction
• •Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and account planning skills

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience selling simulation platforms, ADAS tooling, autonomous vehicle technologies, or machine learning infrastructure
• •Existing relationships within automotive OEM organizations
• •Experience leading proof-of-concept sales motions
• •Experience partnering closely with technical pre-sales or solutions engineering teams
• •Background supporting multi-year strategic partnerships and production deployments

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary

• •$170,000 – $200,000
• •Competitive variable compensation (OTE structure)
