TalentReach is hiring on behalf of a client seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer IV to lead the design, architecture, and support of enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
This is a senior technical role responsible for designing scalable Teamcenter solutions, supporting enterprise-wide PLM initiatives, and partnering with engineering and business teams to improve product lifecycle management across multiple sites. The ideal candidate combines deep Teamcenter expertise with strong systems architecture, integration, and leadership experience.
The IT Systems Engineer IV will serve as a technical leader for the organization's PLM ecosystem, driving architecture, configuration, integrations, upgrades, and enterprise implementations. This role partners closely with engineering, manufacturing, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions while supporting critical aerospace and defense programs.
What You'll Do
- •Design, architect, implement, and maintain enterprise Teamcenter solutions
- •Lead PLM system architecture, integrations, and application enhancements
- •Collaborate with business and technical teams to develop scalable solutions aligned with business objectives
- •Lead Teamcenter enhancement initiatives and resolve complex production issues
- •Review and approve system configurations, customizations, and technical designs
- •Develop and maintain Teamcenter components including BMIDE, workflows, preferences, reports, and extensions
- •Define data models, database configurations, integration strategies, and customization approaches
- •Evaluate business requirements and determine the most effective implementation approach using configuration, customization, or out-of-the-box functionality
- •Lead discovery, proof-of-concept activities, planning, and implementation of new PLM technologies
- •Support Teamcenter implementations, upgrades, and global rollouts across multiple business locations
- •Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, perform data mapping, conduct testing, deliver user training, and communicate project status
- •Support deployments across development, test, and production environments
- •Define monitoring, alerting, and long-term support strategies
- •Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including CMMC, DFARS, and ITAR
- •Develop technical documentation, solution designs, and implementation plans
- •Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across the PLM team
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- •10+ years of experience administering, configuring, or developing Siemens Teamcenter solutions
- •Experience leading end-to-end Teamcenter implementations across multiple business units
- •Experience supporting global Teamcenter deployments using phased rollout strategies
- •Experience planning and executing Teamcenter upgrade initiatives
- •Experience implementing MCAD and ECAD integrations
- •Experience integrating PLM platforms with upstream and downstream enterprise applications
- •Experience designing and supporting distributed Teamcenter environments
- •Experience with data migration tools, validation, and migration strategies
- •Experience developing with Teamcenter ITK, SOA, and REST APIs
Proficiency in Java and C++
- •Strong understanding of engineering processes, product development lifecycles, and configuration management
- •Experience working with engineering data including parts, bills of materials (BOMs), and engineering change orders
- •Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- •Ability to work independently while collaborating across distributed teams
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Agile PLM or Windchill
- •Experience with engineering tools such as DOORS, EWM, or RPE
- •Experience troubleshooting XML integrations
- •Experience using Azure DevOps for configuration management and task tracking
- •Experience administering Windows Server environments
- •Advanced SQL knowledge and reporting experience
- •Experience working within aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing environments
Additional Requirements
- •Must be eligible to access export-controlled information in accordance with ITAR requirements
- •Occasional travel may be required
- •Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when project demands require
Compensation
Salary Range: $152k – $177k
