DF Concerts and Events is seeking a Communications & PR Executive to develop and execute impactful communication strategies for their live entertainment brands. The role involves managing media relations, crisis communications, influencer partnerships, content creation, and event promotion. The successful candidate will have prior PR/communications experience, strong copywriting skills, and proficiency with social media and content management tools. Based in Glasgow, this is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Senior Communications Manager.

DF Concerts and Events is seeking a Communications & PR Executive to join the Marketing & Communications team in Glasgow. In this role, you will craft and deliver impactful communication strategies that elevate brands, promote events, engage fans, and align messaging with business goals. You will collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to amplify brand presence across various channels.

What the Role Includes
•Support and execute the communications strategy for all DF brands, aligning with business goals and ensuring consistent, engaging, and concise messaging.
•Implement internal, external, and crisis communications strategies that align with company goals and strategic framework.
•Manage relationships with PR agencies, media, influencers, and industry partners to secure coverage and handle press enquiries.
•Lead influencer partnerships and create impactful campaigns that amplify event awareness, drive ticket sales, and enhance brand visibility.
•Write and distribute press releases, website content, customer communications, media responses, and official statements while acting as the primary media contact.
•Manage and deliver all event customer communications with clear, consistent, and concise messaging.
•Liaise with journalists, reviewers, and photographers to arrange permission and passes for all DF events.
•Coordinate in-person and remote interviews between artists and journalists.
•Collaborate with the marketing and design team to produce engaging content for various channels and ensure consistent branding across all materials.
•Craft engaging, targeted messages tailored to specific channels and audience segments.
•Track and report on performance metrics, including media coverage, social media engagement, communication campaign results, and influencer impact.
•Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in communications and live events.
•Attend live events to capture and create engaging content for use across digital platforms.
•Manage out-of-hours communication issues and represent the communications team in the Joint Agency Control Centre at summer events.
•Support the team with additional responsibilities as needed.
Who You Are
•A PR and/or communications professional with experience gained in a fast-paced comms role rather than general marketing.
•Excellent copywriting, interpersonal, and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
•Solid understanding of event promotion, media relations, and communications strategies.
•Excellent knowledge of best practices across all communications channels.
•Proficient in social media platforms, content management systems, and tools like Mailchimp, Canva, and Monday.com.
•Able to manage multiple projects, work efficiently under pressure, and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
•In-depth knowledge of performance metrics, campaign reporting, and conducting customer research.
•Familiar with sustainability messaging and a proactive, flexible approach to teamwork and independent work.
•Passionate about music and delivering first-class, inclusive events for fans of all backgrounds.
•Proactive, creative, and innovative in communicating messages and enhancing event promotion.
