Senior Program Manager, Global Medical Affairs - Rare Disease & General Medicine

In this vital role you will support the development and execution of Medical Strategy for Global Rare Disease and General Medicine Medical Affairs teams, including Dazodalibep and olpasiran. This is a key role whose overarching objective is to drive the development and execution of Medical Strategy in collaboration with Medical Affairs Leads. In this vital role, you will ensure that key deliverables including medical plans, insights, budgets and goals are brought to completion. The Senior Manager is a cross-functional, collaborative role across global, regional, and local Medical teams and partners. You will identify metrics, progress, interdependencies, and concerns, facilitate resolution as needed, and keep the Medical Affairs Team aligned around its priorities.
You will lead cross-functional planning, manage project risks, and drive resolution of complex issues while aligning strategic goals across the broader organization.

Given close partnership with USML, GMAL, and global cross-functional stakeholders, the Senior Manager must maintain working hours with meaningful Pacific Time overlap. Availability generally from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time, plus flexibility for key meetings, business priorities, and global deliverables, is required.
Comfort working through ambiguity and helping create structure when priorities, ownership, or next steps are still evolving. This includes asking thoughtful questions, identifying options, proposing next steps, and helping the team move from discussion to action.
Experience with integrated planning, milestone tracking, resource planning, financial planning, capacity assessments, and executive-level communication.
Experience tracking projects in Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, or electronic dashboard and reporting tools.
Technical fluency with SharePoint, CoPilot, Teams, and dashboard/reporting tools.
Experience with and curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, with a demonstrated interest in advancing practical solutions to business challenges

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
