Overview
Globalpayers is looking for a Project Manager II (Non Technical) to join the Enterprise team and drive the next phase of growth across the EMEA region. This is a senior delivery role with end-to-end ownership of large, complex, strategic customer implementations.
What You Will Own
•Lead the delivery of large, complex and strategic customer implementations through the internal Ready, Execute, Deliver Salesforce process.
•Take end-to-end ownership of multiple concurrent projects, managing complex stakeholder environments across customers, commercial teams, product, engineering, operations, compliance and third-party partners.
•Develop and maintain robust project plans, governance structures, risk management frameworks and executive status reporting.
•Act as the primary escalation point for high-risk projects, proactively identifying and resolving issues that could impact timelines, customer experience or revenue realization.
•Lead weekly project governance and status meetings with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear accountability for actions, decisions and outcomes.
•Partner closely with customer executives and project sponsors to align objectives, manage expectations and drive successful implementation outcomes.
•Provide regular updates to senior leadership, highlighting project progress, key risks, dependencies and mitigation plans.
•Drive continuous improvement by conducting project retrospectives, identifying lessons learned and implementing best practices across the implementation function.
•Own and contribute to the maintenance of departmental risk registers, delivery standards, project methodologies and operational excellence initiatives.
•Mentor and coach junior Project Managers, supporting their professional development and helping to build project management capability across the team.
•Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight on selected projects, coordinating and directing junior Project Managers where appropriate.
•Support resource planning and workload prioritization across the project management team.
What You Bring
•Significant project management experience delivering large-scale, complex customer implementations within payments, financial technology, software, or a related industry.
•Proven ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously across complex stakeholder environments.
•Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring, coaching or providing oversight to junior colleagues.
•Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively from operational teams through to executive leadership.
•Strong commercial acumen and customer focus, with the ability to balance customer requirements with business objectives.
•Demonstrated ability to manage risks, dependencies and escalations in fast-paced and changing environments.
•Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, planning and prioritization skills.
•A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
•Experience driving process improvements and contributing to project management best practices.
•Willingness to travel when required across EMEA to support strategic customer engagements and project delivery.
