Overview

Globalpayers is looking for a Project Manager II to join their high-performing Enterprise team and drive the next phase of growth across the EMEA region. This is a non-technical project management role focused on large-scale customer implementations within the payments industry.

Responsibilities

• •Lead the delivery of large, complex and strategic customer implementations through the internal Ready, Execute, Deliver Salesforce process.
• •Take end-to-end ownership of multiple concurrent projects, managing complex stakeholder environments across customers, commercial teams, product, engineering, operations, compliance and third-party partners.
• •Develop and maintain robust project plans, governance structures, risk management frameworks and executive status reporting.
• •Act as the primary escalation point for high-risk projects, proactively identifying and resolving issues that could impact timelines, customer experience or revenue realization.
• •Lead weekly project governance and status meetings with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear accountability for actions, decisions and outcomes.
• •Partner closely with customer executives and project sponsors to align objectives, manage expectations and drive successful implementation outcomes.
• •Provide regular updates to senior leadership, highlighting project progress, key risks, dependencies and mitigation plans.
• •Drive continuous improvement by conducting project retrospectives, identifying lessons learned and implementing best practices across the implementation function.
• •Own and contribute to the maintenance of departmental risk registers, delivery standards, project methodologies and operational excellence initiatives.
• •Mentor and coach junior Project Managers, supporting their professional development and helping to build project management capability across the team.
• •Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight on selected projects, coordinating and directing junior Project Managers where appropriate.
• •Support resource planning and workload prioritization across the project management team.

Requirements

• •Significant project management experience delivering large-scale, complex customer implementations within payments, financial technology, software, or a related industry.
• •Proven ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously across complex stakeholder environments.
• •Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring, coaching or providing oversight to junior colleagues.
• •Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively from operational teams through to executive leadership.
• •Strong commercial acumen and customer focus, with the ability to balance customer requirements with business objectives.
• •Demonstrated ability to manage risks, dependencies and escalations in fast-paced and changing environments.
• •Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, planning and prioritization skills.
• •A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• •Experience driving process improvements and contributing to project management best practices.
• •Willingness to travel when required across EMEA to support strategic customer engagements and project delivery.
