About the Role & Program
Marketing Strategy connects consumer insights to business objectives by leading go-to-market strategies. The vision of the Marketing Strategy organization is to be the most imaginative marketers of immersive entertainment, encouraging people worldwide to make their Disney dreams come true.
The ultimate objective is to drive consumer demand, visitation, and revenue goals for Walt Disney World Resort. This is achieved by developing strategies and communication plans to reach and influence consumer mindset and behavior including desire to take a Disney vacation, visit during a specific season, reach a specific consumer segment, stay in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and purchase a ticket to Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2027 to June 2027.
What You Will Do
You will help deliver annual revenue and attendance goals for Walt Disney World Resort. Responsibilities include:
- •Supporting Managers by building and implementing communication plans
- •Evaluating campaign creative
- •Analyzing consumer research results and interpreting analyses to determine go-forward action plans
- •Monitoring tactical performance
- •Thinking critically to develop strategic inputs, communicate strategies, and develop communication plans to support business objectives
- •Creatively solving business issues through innovation of new ideas
- •Using data to identify trends and support research, analysis, and reporting efforts
- •Coordinating and leading a variety of projects to increase awareness and relevancy, drive intent to visit, and accelerate conversion
- •Collaborating with internal teams to support business needs through emails, organic and paid media, web content, etc.
- •Developing and executing marketing strategies across the business to reach key audiences

Required Qualifications & Skills
- •Ability to use data analysis and consumer insights/research to help tell a clear, compelling story; comfortable working with numbers
- •Team collaboration with the ability to handle conflict to positive resolution
- •Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and developing presentation decks
- •Previous Marketing Internship experience
- •Takes initiative and possesses personal leadership skills with an entrepreneurial mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- •Prior Disney Experience
- •Familiarity with AI and AI Powered Tools
- •Fluent in Spanish
Education
- •Senior year preferred
- •Major or previous coursework in Marketing, Business, or related field
Eligibility Requirements
- •Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- •At least 18 years of age
- •Possess unrestricted work authorization
- •Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Program Details
- •Program dates: January 2027 to June 2027
- •Full-time hours, approximately 40 hours per week
- •Consistent, reliable work schedule required throughout the internship
- •Must be able to provide reliable transportation to and from work
- •Must be able to provide own housing in the Orlando, Florida area for the duration of the internship
- •Limited housing opportunities may be available through American Campus Communities for Florida Based Professional Interns
- •Pay rate: $23.00 per hour
