Overview
GDIT is seeking a Graphic Designer / Video Producer specialist with an advanced visualization skillset to support a government client. This is a full-time, onsite position located in Annapolis Junction, MD requiring an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Salary range: $114,750 - $155,250
Responsibilities
•Design and create a wide variety of graphics including illustrations, graphs, charts, logos, and layouts for information visualization
•Standardize all publications and outreach materials
•Deliver creative ideas representing data in a meaningful, visual way that users can interpret and comprehend intuitively, including data visualizations and dashboards
•Assist with updating, creating, and supporting databases and reports with key illustrated metrics to guide strategic decisions
•Create compelling graphics, charts, and multimedia visuals to enhance print and digital content
•Work closely with the leadership team and data analytics team to promote and enhance content including reports, briefs, and visual data
•Develop a style guide in partnership with an editor
•Create budgetary tracking and information visualization
•Elevate and standardize the full range of print and digital publications

Required Knowledge
•Principles of graphic design, data visualization, and graphic design standards for the production of complex, custom information graphics
•Graphic design and development software to illustrate abstract ideas, complex data, and concepts and to depict highly technical subject matter
•Translating abstract ideas and concepts into clear visual representation
•Developing comprehensive layouts for review, comment, and final approval
•Interpreting, analyzing, organizing, and transforming statistical information, report notes, or general descriptions into creative design solutions
Requirements
•Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree
•5+ years of related experience
•Expert skills in modern graphic design, infographic design, and videographic production
•Basic copy-editing skills
•Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
•US citizenship required
•Onsite availability, Monday through Friday
•Less than 10% travel required
