Job Description
KLA is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for their ECI division to develop market requirements, define product strategy, conduct market research, manage product lifecycles, and own product positioning. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and sales, as well as regional account management and customer engagement. Candidates should have semiconductor or packaging process knowledge, with experience in ECD, wet etch/cleans, or chemical metrology preferred.

Role Overview
The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will be responsible for development of market requirements for product(s) or product line(s) in the ECI division. This includes product strategy definition, market research, monitoring competitive activity, identifying customer needs, and pricing.
The PMM will also serve as a region and account owner, supporting pre-sales and after-sales projects, and acting as a point of contact between customers and the division.
Responsibilities
•Develop business and product marketing plans and manage product life cycles (PLC)
•Own product positioning in the marketplace and customer engagement from penetration to adoption
•Interact with engineering, manufacturing, and sales departments to enhance existing products or product lines
•Lead new product definition and business plans with joint departments
•Develop product presentations and present them to key customers
•Define product penetration and adoption strategies for specific accounts together with regional teams
•Work closely with regional teams as a liaison between customer and division
•Conduct market analysis including inflection points and competitive landscape
•Drive strategic planning and new product definition
•Prepare technical presentations and executive summaries
Qualifications
•Semiconductor or packaging cleanroom/fab process knowledge
•Knowledge or experience in ECD (Electrochemical Deposition) and/or Wet Etch/Cleans process is a plus
•Knowledge or experience in chemical metrology is a plus
•Strong communication skills and ability to conduct effective presentations
•Analytical skills, including ability to draw business conclusions from complex datasets
•Ability to successfully drive projects with minimal intervention
•Well-organized with attention to detail
•Ability and desire to work in a team environment
•Willingness to travel for business 30-40% of the time
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields
•5+ years of relevant work experience in product marketing or application/process engineering
