The Role
We are looking for a Shopper Marketing Specialist to establish and lead excellence in Shopper Marketing, maximising demand for Salomon with omnichannel trade partners and delivering own Retail activation.
You will work in close collaboration with the Country Marketing Manager, EMEA Winning Account Marketing, Marketing peers, local Sales, and Global expert departments. You will report directly to the Country Marketing Manager.
Contract: Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
Start Date: November 2026
Location: Camberley (primary UK office), with options near London (Shoreditch) or Manchester. Travel to Camberley expected approximately once per month.
Hybrid Working: Minimum two days per week in a UK office, showroom, or with customers.
Travel: Regular travel to customer locations across the UK, with occasional evening and weekend work.
Main Activities
- •Act as the marketing point of contact for local Key Accounts, Premium Partners and HQ Retail
- •Deliver customer presentations at key seasonal meetings, clearly conveying seasonal programs for activation
- •Understand the shopper journey and key influencing points to improve the conversion funnel to purchase
- •Cooperate with the Sales team to develop local customer plans, including co-op campaigns
- •Own local Customer Joint Marketing Plans; define and agree seasonal plans and related Shopping Experience Framework implementation and tracking
- •Prepare Account 360 activation seasonal plans with a focus on online presence
- •Oversee and execute local on and offline shopper marketing programs and 360 campaigns
- •Execute D2C, Key Account and Premium Partners Customer Marketing Plans according to dedicated toolbox
- •Deliver all product and brand related assets to retail partners
- •Track Pay for Performance elements for consumer experience in Trade Terms
- •Manage external service suppliers and agencies for branded spaces and campaigns
- •Cooperate with the e-tail team and support digital activation of local click and brick accounts
- •Implement and coordinate own Retail Marketing actions including brand store and factory outlet openings, window programs and promotional actions
- •Support trade relevant events such as Trade Shows, Buying Days and Showrooms
- •Produce meaningful reports with clear recommendations including links to Account and Campaign KPIs, digital ROI, Joint Marketing Plans and Shopping Experience Framework
- •Report progress of KPI achievement to Country Marketing Manager and EMEA Teams
- •Cooperate with Salomon HQ and EMEA Teams and provide feedback on toolboxes
- •Share best practice examples via the EMEA shopper community
Requirements
- •3 to 5 years in a Shopper Marketing, Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing, Retail Marketing or Marketing Manager role in leading branded consumer goods (FMCG or Sporting Goods)
- •Experience working directly with wholesale customers, retailer marketing teams and customer accounts, including building and maintaining marketing relationships
- •Experience supporting wholesale sell-in processes, pre-line meetings, seasonal marketing planning and in-season campaign execution
- •Demonstrated ability to manage multiple customer accounts, stakeholders, projects, budgets and deadlines simultaneously across multiple seasons
- •Experience delivering customer activations, events, incentives and integrated marketing campaigns (desirable)
- •Relevant Bachelor or Master degree in Business with a focus on Marketing preferred
- •Understanding of wholesale, own retail and ecommerce channels
- •Understanding of consumer and shopper behaviour
- •Ability to manage complex projects and processes with multiple stakeholders
- •Budget planning, tracking and vendor management experience
- •Strong problem-solving, communication and presentation skills
- •Ability to analyse trade marketing KPIs and digital ROI
- •Fluent in English
- •Proficiency in Microsoft Office; graphic and design programs are a plus
- •Valid driving licence
- •Strong planning, organising, networking, persuading and commercial thinking skills
