TalentReach is hiring on behalf of a high-growth technology company seeking experienced Senior Software Engineers to build and scale the distributed systems powering a global, high-volume software platform. This is an opportunity to work on challenging engineering problems at massive scale while collaborating with talented engineers across backend infrastructure, platform services, data, and cloud technologies.

Austin, TX (Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite)

What You'll Do

• •Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain highly scalable distributed software systems
• •Build reliable backend services using modern programming languages such as Go, Java, Scala, C#, or TypeScript
• •Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions
• •Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency
• •Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions
• •Leverage AI-powered development tools and automation to improve engineering productivity
• •Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
• •Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and technical standards
• •Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of production services
• •Continuously improve deployment processes, monitoring, observability, and operational tooling

Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• •4+ years of professional software engineering experience building production software
• •Strong experience developing distributed systems using Go, Java, Scala, C#, TypeScript, or similar languages
• •Experience designing, deploying, and supporting production services at scale
• •Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization
• •Experience with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and CI/CD pipelines
• •Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or comparable orchestration platforms
• •Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• •Ability to work in a hybrid environment with four days per week onsite

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience with large-scale distributed systems and high-performance backend services
• •Data engineering technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Cassandra, Iceberg, or Trino
• •MLOps platforms, model deployment, feature stores, or machine learning infrastructure
• •Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), observability, monitoring, and incident response
• •Frontend engineering, SDK development, or web and mobile platform technologies
• •Experience implementing AI-assisted development workflows or developer productivity tooling

Compensation and Benefits

• •Target Total Compensation: $335,000 - $400,000
• •Base Salary: $210,000 - $260,000
