What You'll Do
•Support attorneys and compliance professionals with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance matters.
•Draft, review, and maintain legal agreements, corporate records, policies, and other legal documentation.
•Coordinate and manage regulatory filings, disclosures, and reporting obligations.
•Assist with internal audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance reviews.
•Track legal obligations, deadlines, and corporate governance requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
•Conduct legal and regulatory research and prepare summaries for internal stakeholders.
•Partner with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and risk management activities.
•Maintain document management systems and legal records in accordance with company policies.
•Support vendor, customer, and third-party contract administration processes.
•Assist with special projects and operational improvements within the legal and compliance functions.
What You'll Bring
•6+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal operations professional, or similar legal support role.
•Bachelor's degree or completion of an accredited paralegal studies program preferred.
•Experience within financial services, investment management, banking, fintech, or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.
•Working knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting investment advisers, asset managers, or financial institutions is a plus.
•Strong understanding of legal documentation, corporate governance practices, and records management.
•Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficiency with legal research tools, document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
•Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
•Familiarity with investment adviser regulations, regulatory filings, and disclosure requirements.
•Experience supporting SEC examinations, compliance testing, or regulatory reporting activities.
•Prior experience working directly with legal, compliance, risk, or corporate governance teams.
•Professional certifications related to paralegal studies, legal operations, or compliance are a plus.
