We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys building scalable backend systems, customer-facing applications, and modern APIs that power enterprise software products.
This role offers the opportunity to own features from concept through production, working across backend services, cloud infrastructure, and web applications.

What You'll Do
•Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and customer-facing platform features
•Build secure, well-structured RESTful and gRPC APIs that support enterprise applications
•Design data models and service architectures that promote scalability and long-term maintainability
•Collaborate with Product Managers, DevOps, and engineering teams to define technical solutions that align with business objectives
•Deliver features from technical design through deployment, testing, monitoring, and ongoing support
•Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term improvements
•Improve application performance, observability, reliability, and operational health
•Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while contributing to engineering best practices
•Participate in architecture reviews, technical planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
•Mentor teammates and help establish high engineering standards across the organization
Required Qualifications
•5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production software
•Strong experience developing backend applications with Python
•Experience with modern web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or similar technologies
•Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and ORM frameworks
•Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and distributed systems
•Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
•Experience building and deploying applications on AWS or comparable cloud platforms
•Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices
•Strong understanding of production monitoring, logging, and service reliability
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience with React, TypeScript, or other modern frontend technologies
•Experience working with PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy
•Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues
•Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
•Experience using observability platforms including Prometheus and Grafana
•Experience building data-intensive or distributed cloud applications
•Familiarity with machine learning infrastructure or large-scale data processing platforms
