TalentReach is hiring on behalf of an innovative technology company developing cloud-based software platforms used by engineering teams solving complex real-world problems. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys building scalable backend systems, designing clean APIs, and delivering production-ready software that customers rely on every day.

Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering customer-facing platform capabilities that power complex software workflows. You'll build scalable backend services, collaborate on architecture decisions, improve platform reliability, and help establish engineering best practices across the organization.

What You'll Do

• •Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and customer-facing APIs
• •Develop well-structured REST and gRPC services that are reliable, secure, and easy to extend
• •Architect data models and service integrations that support long-term platform growth
• •Partner with Product Managers, Infrastructure Engineers, and technical stakeholders to define solutions that meet customer needs
• •Build features from design through deployment, testing, monitoring, and long-term operational support
• •Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement lasting improvements
• •Improve application performance, observability, and system reliability
• •Contribute to engineering standards around testing, documentation, code quality, and maintainability
• •Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
• •Help mentor teammates and promote best practices across the engineering organization

Required Qualifications

• •5+ years of professional software engineering experience building backend applications
• •Strong experience developing production applications with Python
• •Experience building APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or similar technologies
• •Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and ORM patterns
• •Experience designing and maintaining RESTful services and distributed systems
• •Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments
• •Experience deploying and operating services on AWS or similar cloud platforms
• •Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices
• •Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, alerting, and production operations
• •Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience with React and modern frontend development
• •Familiarity with PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy
• •Experience working with event-driven architectures or message queues
• •Experience with workflow orchestration platforms
• •Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability tools
• •Experience building data-intensive applications or distributed platforms
• •Familiarity with machine learning infrastructure or data processing pipelines
